Cru translates to “growth.”
For us, it means bringing the right variety
of elements together to create synergy.

PDX Wine Cru embodies more than 20 years of experience in the Oregon wine world. Founded by Erin Palmer, our goal is to navigate individuals through the intricate and esteemed world of wine. Whether you're a winery seeking a competitive edge or an avid wine enthusiast, breaking into this vibrant industry can be daunting. With our authentic passion and seasoned knowledge, we're dedicated to propelling you toward success in the world of grapes.

Erin runs the firm with one non-negotiable ethos; “great or not at all”. We interact with clients in a manner that leaves them fully satisfied with their decision to collaborate with us. Our commitment extends to our interactions within the team and with our colleagues, fostering an environment where everyone feels valued and challenged to keep learning and growing. This involves nurturing a culture of respect, effective communication, and thoughtful decision-making. These values align with our aspiration to contribute to a socially and environmentally sustainable world.

Erin brings over two decades of experience in the Oregon wine industry to this venture. Formerly the owner of The Portland Wine Cellar, she has strong connections with local wineries and clients, forming the foundation of our firm. With twenty years of teaching wine classes at Portland Community College, Erin has engaged with over 30,000 students in more than 2,000 classes. Her brand is characterized by approachability, fun, and a lack of pretentiousness. Beyond teaching, Erin regularly supports wineries at events and festivals, embodying professionalism and enthusiasm in representing wineries and festival organizers. When Erin is representing your winery you can relax knowing she’s reflecting you the way you want to be seen.

In 2022, life took a dramatic turn for Erin. Erin's son, Dallas, suffered a traumatic brain injury while serving in the US Space Force. This life-altering situation prompted a profound reevaluation of her personal and professional priorities. Leveraging her strengths and passions, she sold her beloved wine shop and founded PDX Wine Events.

Erin lives in Hillsboro with her hiking partner and husband. Their grown children are the light of their lives. At any given time you will find a foster cat or four running around their house.

Join us on this next adventure. And remember…

Great or not at all.
